Biography of academician V. A. Petrov — the founder of classical cosmoenergetics

The early years and medical education

Vladimir Alexandrovich Petrov was born on 22 February 1958 in Leningrad. Having received his higher medical education at the 1st Leningrad Medical Institute, he combined a deep understanding of classical human physiology with the aspiration to uncover the hidden resources of the body and of consciousness.

His interest in the ancient spiritual traditions of the East, in shamanic practices and in the natural laws of the biofield shaped his later path as a pioneering researcher.

The expeditions and the discovery of the frequencies (1983–1994)

In the early 1980s V. A. Petrov organised a series of research expeditions to the mountain regions of the Tian Shan, the Chimgan gorges and the natural places of power of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In the course of years of experimental work, in 1983–1984 he was the first to detect, record and systematise stable energy-information wave streams — the cosmic frequencies (Farun-Buddha, Firast, Zeus, Shaon and others).

Petrov developed the technology of attunement (initiation) that makes it possible to pass on the ability to work with the frequencies from teacher to student without any loss in the quality of the vibrations.

The founding of the first School of Cosmoenergetics

In 1994, in Tashkent, Vladimir Alexandrovich opened the first official “Petrov School of Cosmoenergetics”. The method developed rapidly: the Buddhist (healing) and the Magic (applied) blocks took shape, and then the highest Magister Block of cosmoenergetics was opened.

In the early 2000s the centre of activity moved to Moscow, where Petrov registered the International Association of Cosmoenergetics and continued his large-scale expeditions (including regular research in Karelia on Mount Vottovaara).

The legacy, the books and the continuity of the school

Academician V. A. Petrov is the author of fundamental works that have entered the treasury of the method: the teaching manual “Cosmoenergetics for People”, the collection of scientific works “Informatiology and Cosmoenergetics” (2004), and the books “The Dance of Shiva, or Cosmic Mayhem” and “In the Footsteps of the Dance of Shiva”.

Today the classical tradition of the school is preserved in its original purity in Moscow: the founder’s direct students — Sergey and Svetlana Sabantsev — have been teaching according to the eight-level programme established by the academician since 2000.

A message to his students

Vladimir Alexandrovich Petrov always stressed: “Cosmoenergetics is the way of the warrior, the way of awareness, strict discipline and personal responsibility. The knowledge opens only to the one who acts with a pure intention and is ready to work on himself tirelessly for the good of people”.
